    JIA certified the Osato Laboratory, Inc. with FSSC22000 for the first time and Mr. Fumihiko Kimura, Chairman and CEO of JIA, gave their very first certificate in Japan to us at yma hall of the Osato Research Institute on December 19, 2011.

    The certificate was handed to Mr. Hayashi by Mr. Kimura.

    The JIA's first FSSC 22000 certificate with registration no. JS0001A

    FSSC22000 has been developed by the EU Foundation for Food Safety Systems (FFSC Netherlands) as an integrated certification scheme based on the internationally recognized standard "ISO22000" and the British Standards Institute (BSI) specification "PAS220", which is highly appreciated by European worldwide food supply chain groups.
    We have been challenging to get certified with FSSC22000, which is the strictest requirement for Food Safety Management System in Europe, since 2010, because we think the most important thing is Food safety for our production of Fermented Papaya Preparation. From now on, FPP is produced under ISO 9001, ISO140001, ISO22000 and FSSC22000.
